I nostri progetti culturali, che prevedono diversi eventi annuali, premiano l’identità storica di Ortona e del suo territorio e sostengono “l’incoming” turistico del territorio costiero dell’Abruzzo; diffonde la bellezza della Costa dei Trabocchi, delle sue spiagge e delle sue piste ciclo-pedonabili.
Gli eventi si svilupperanno ogni anno da maggio a settembre, dettate ad aprire e chiudere la stagione turistica estiva.
Progetti con elevate qualità culturali che nutrono puntualmente ogni anno il legame delle radici storiche del territorio con il suo popolo.
Uno sforzo collettivo per rafforzare l’identità storica dei nostri concittadini attraverso gli eventi culturali di Ortona che la nostra associazione promuove e realizza puntualmente.
Tutte le date delle rievocazioni cadono nel periodo di maggior afflusso turistico.
Offrono un polo di attrazione dalle manifestazioni già collaudate come il Corteo delle Chiavi d’Argento e la Traslazione delle Reliquie di San Tommaso Apostolo, e grazie anche alle nostre nuove sfide promosse solo da diversi anni come la Rievocazione del Consiglio dei Decurioni, il Palio delle Chiavi d’Argento e la Riunione delle Rievocazioni dell’Abruzzo.
I progetti si basano tutti su notizie tratte da documenti storici elaborati dal comitato scientifico dell’associazione, confortati dallo studio accademico delle ricerche e delle pubblicazioni dell’Associazione Storia Patria di Ortona, accompagnati da nostre pubblicazioni editate insieme al materiale divulgativo in italiano e inglese dell’associazione.

STAY WITH US AND ENJOY OUR CULTURAL EVENTS
Our cultural projects, which include several annual events, reward the historical identity of Ortona and its territory and support “incoming” tourism to the coastal territory of Abruzzo; spread the beauty of the Costa dei Trabocchi, its beaches and its bike/pedestrian paths.
Events will be developed annually from May to September, dictated to open and close the summer tourist season.
Projects with high cultural qualities that punctually nurture each year the connection of the territory’s historical roots with its people.
A collective effort to strengthen the historical identity of our fellow citizens through the cultural events in Ortona that our association promotes and implements punctually.
All the dates of the re-enactments fall in the period of greatest tourist influx.
They offer a pole of attraction from the already proven events such as the Parade of the Silver Keys and the Translation of the Relics of St. Thomas the Apostle, and also thanks to our new challenges promoted only several years ago such as the Re-enactment of the Council of Decurions, the Palio of the Silver Keys and the Re-enactment of the Re-enactments of Abruzzo.
The projects are all based on news from historical documents compiled by the association’s scientific committee, comforted by the academic study of the research and publications of the Ortona Homeland History Association, accompanied by our publications edited together with the association’s Italian and English popular materials.
